Woman suffered serious sexual assault by two men in Thurrock last night, says Essex Police

A WOMAN was subjected to a ’serious sexual assault’ by two men in Thurrock last night, said Essex Police.

The victim, in her 40s, was attacked at the junction of Grange Road and Clarence Road in Grays.

The attack took place between 10pm and 11pm on Sunday, July 16.

Police closed the area to traffic for four hours while they searched for evidence. They are carrying out house to house enquiries today.

The force urged anybody who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area to call the Kent and Essex major crime team by dialling 101 or emailing scdappeals@essex.pnn.police.uk.
